It might be a salesman, a survey or ... a request to come for a interview.

Before this exciting event you have sent several applications to numerous companies. Probably you don't get the company name right away and you don't want to sound like a dumb so you don't ask it several times. Anyways, you do agree that you have applied this position and you are ready to arrive for an interview. Then you agree with details and time...

I have to say very few things beat this feeling. At least those things are not allowed in public places.

Finding a job from abroad on your own can be described as a challenging project. Compared to my previous experience working abroad as a trainee the amount of issues and questions is huge. I had my traineeship in Poland but it was through AIESEC. The meaning of that is almost everything was nearly ready for me. Most demanding tasks were applying a visa and buying flight tickets - well, in addition of financing. I had reception buddy who helped me a lot (thanks Dawid) and such a short stay - 3 months - didn't require heavy paper work.

But this time I don't have such organization supporting me directly. Luckily I have managed to gain some contacts (in addition to Dóra) which have been really valuable.

Actually I could write my todo-list here:
- Graduating
- Finding a job (interviews in March, could have more)
- Traveling (for the interviews it is clear, otherwise no)
- Insurances
- Packing (discard, sell, donate, store, take with...)
- Accomondation
- Legal issues, work permit (Finland and Hungary are both EU countries but there is two year transition period, doh)
- Language studies
- Building social network

However, one by one those things can be solved...

by making up the idea... long long time ago :)
since then?...

dozens of job applications... long talks... with the parents... a christmas... a lapland trip before that... hundreds of questions... a visit home :) ... work, master thesis... laundry and washing up... hoovering and dusting... kyykkä and badminton... stupid dreams... decisions, decisions, decisions... flight ticket, movie ticket... close to each other, far from each other...

and here we stand now.. opening this blog..
