This trip to Switzerland was different. We went there by a train instead of a plane, I did not have any stomach problems and it was all about relaxing. This was the first time for me to spend time in a small village in Alps.
The reason for such trip was my workplace and its annual company weekend. So almost everything paid, good food and compulsory group photo with short presentation. Very nice and it was great to see those Swiss people behind their names and nick names.

January 23, 2006Back and going again

Actually I arrived yesterday instead of the original day. I managed to get some kind of food poisoning from pizzeria in Zurich on Sunday so I was just feeling really sick whole Monday. So no meetings and no return flight. Luckily the company organized me a new flight for yesterday and today I was able to work already.
To make things even more strange, I am traveling to Switzerland again tomorrow with Dóra to have a ski weekend. Ah, I hope that trip goes better.

Weekend in Switzerland
January 13, 2006
Tomorrow morning I will travel to Zurich with my colleague. We will do some sightseeing in Zurich during Saturday and Sunday but Monday will be real working day before we fly back in the evening. I have no expectations towards the city but I think I'll manage to find something nice from there. Weather forecast has promised decent weather so it should be ideal for walking around the city.
Actually I have some previous contact to Switzerland but I haven't been in touch for long time. Too bad...

Such a suprise

I am waiting a repairman to arrive and to fix that window sealing. But, as previously experienced, I am calling my landlord and asking where the repair guy is. We agreed 12 o'clock and now it is half past. Those guys have to be extremely busy or something else...
So, my landlord just called and another expected change. That repair guy forgot the meeting and we will try again next week. I should find out who that guy is actually and whether he is working for this building company. He is definitely next to useless but I assume the company does so well it can pay salary for such dead weight.

Voting day
January 07, 2006
Something has happened after last blog entry. I am now older. I turned 27 couple days ago and so far I received some greetings. My favorites are "You are now closer the grave" and "That is the age to get married". Actually I don't give too much about that number. It would be more interesting to have that number given when you born and then we would count to zero...
Otherwise life is pretty much same. New repairs coming for the flat, some traveling, working and maybe even learning languages. Oh, I brought my indoor shoes from Finland so now I am able to do some sports with colleagues. But I need sport clothes, I cannot play with jeans. Have to postpone.
Today I will go out to do voting because it is last day to voting abroad. I have already decided who to vote but it is also pretty clear that she is not going through for second round. I rather give my vote as a personal encouragement. Selecting the person was easy. Current president is not getting my vote nor the guy who dated the minister behind Finland's horrible copyright law. Also a guy who is asking public opinion which glasses he should choose is not suitable to be a president. And the rest are just way too nonsense.
